Erskine Reed Myer Letters (MS 87), 1917-1930 (bulk 1917-1919).

Erskine Reed Myer's, "Keeping Step, 1917-1918-1919; the Letters of a Doughboy Lieutenant," comprises 39 letters written to his parents during World War I. The letters, bound together in a carbon copy of a 143 p. typescript, were written from Boulder, Fort Riley, Kansas, Camp Sherman, Ohio, and various locations in England and France.

Erskine Reed Myer, one-time faculty member of the University of Colorado and colleague of Francis Wolle, served as Lieutenant, 356th Infantry, 89th Division in France during World War I. Myer served as Regent of the University of Colorado at Boulder (1951-1954).
